To properly care for your hair, start with cleansing, ideally with As I Am cleansers like Curl Clarity Shampoo or Coconut CoWash. Leave your hair wet or very damp and avoid towel drying it. Distribute a small amount of product in your palms and then evenly throughout your hair, from root to tip. Gently detangle your hair with a comb or flexible brush, working in short strokes from the ends to the scalp. Alternatively, you can also detangle with your fingers.
